Don't really know what you guys are really in to, but I just got Phil Joel's (he used to be in the Newsboys) Deliberate People and The New Normal cd about a month and a half ago. It kicks butt!
Just random bands on Myspace :) But I've challenged myself to listen to only Christian music. I listen to you guys a bunch too so... :D GOD bless! P.S. can't wait for the new album!
My listening list is slightly different...Switchfoot, Relient K, Owl City, Family Force 5, Brandon Heath, and the odd song by people like Showbread, Sanctus Real, Coldplay...etc. And Leeland of course--but that goes without saying :)

p.s. oh...and breaking outside of my normal music-genre...i also love NewWorldSon :)
What Im listening to: THE LONG FALL BACK TO EARTH! Matt Wingfield Tenth Avenue North and I am eargly/excitedly/overly hyper awaiting the new Newsboys album....TOMORROW"!!!!!!!!!!!!1 WOOO hoo
I'm really loving Hillsong United right now. When you guys came to the Desperation Conference in Colorado Springs last year and taught us "With Everything" by Joel Houston, it absolutely shook the walls of the church. Thanks for passing on such an amazing song!
My music tastes are pretty eclectic and not what you'd expect. I've been really into P.O.D. for a while now and I love Alice Cooper, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, JB, Bon Jovi, The Moffatts, JET, and CCR. I also love a lot of bluesy stuff, like Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Matt Minglewood. And Righteous B. I LOVE Righteous B.
The only artist I recognized is Jars Of Clay.. The other ones look interesting! I listen to a lot really.. Falling Up, Switchfoot, Relient K, Starfield, Tenth Avenue North, Nevertheless, This Beautiful Republic and so on. I never listen to Leeland of course :P Last Friday I bought "Nothing Is sound" by Switchfoot and "Fangs!" by Falling Up :) If you can find some time you could check out Canadian Sunset. They're a Dutch band and from my church and I think they are really good! Oh and of course I listen to Coldplay :)
I agree with the first commenter--Phil Joel is great! So is Jars of Clay; and I just today discovered Casting Crowns and Nevertheless. I love listening to Switchfoot and Monk & Neagle, too. :D
It's vicious battle right now on my iPod between Opposite Ways and David Crowder*Bands Club Remedy Tour CD. I'm preparing myself for a concert y'all are doing together three months from now that I'll be at. You know you can never be too prepared.
Interestingly enough, at this very moment, I'm listening to "Tears of the Saints." :) I currently just love my playlist on MySpace, so whenever I'm on the computer, that's what I listen to. In the car, it's Casting Crowns and you guys. With the occasional Celtic song or the Rent soundtrack.
I've been listening to songs here or there by Hillsong...Hillsong United? Something like that. They're pretty cool. I've also been listening to songs by Muse. Not Christian, but they're so catchy!
I've also been listening to Kim Walker's How He Loves. Gives me chills, that one!
okay, i need to share something with you Leeland, if i may...
okay, so today i listene to your vid, Worship with lee. that video always makes me cry when i get into praising GOD. and i had an opportunity tonite in youth group to pray for a friend of mine, and me and a few of my friends went up to the alter with her, and while we were up there, i saw another of my friends at the alter crying, (who just recently started to come here, and im not sure where this person stood with the Lord.) and i felt i needed to talk to her, so i went up and before i said anything to her and just prayed for her (she had lost a friend a few days earlier, and she was really hurting.) so i prayed for her, and i started asking her what was wrong, and she told me how she felt useless, and how her family had been ripped up, with multiple step-parents involved.... and how she felt ashamed and like she shouldnt even be at church, and the Holy Spirit put in my heart the story in the Bible (idk where its found) about when someone told Jesus his mother and brothers were outside, and He told them, who are my mothers and brothers, they are all around me, all who are in my name. so we started talking, and i got to skip small groups that night and have my own small group with her, and when we were done, she siad she felt so good because she needed to get that off her chest, and then, she told me she had read the Purpose Driven life, and now we're gonna start an email group for the purpose driven life! how cool is that! PRAISE GOD! Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so then i talked to my pastor, and we are gonna do a worship night inspired by your video!!! we're just gonna sing and make music and praise! no written songs, just words from the heart! so thank you! praise GOD i am soooo happy right now!!!!1
I have actually been listening to this guy named Adam Agin. He is based out of Nashville and he works with brite revolution which is a music business that allows artists to sell their music on there exclusively and to have part of their sales go to a charity. Adam is great and soulful and full of passion. you should check him out on myspace.
