At the fair in Raleigh...

So we're in North Carolina at the state fair. We're opening for Skillet tonight and we had a little hang out time on the grounds. There's always the most amazing food choices at these fairs. We had fun walking around and then me and Leeland got a funnel cake and split it. Funnel cakes are just so darn good! Oh... and matt rode a mechanical bull and it was a total failure. It didn't go over well.

I'm really tired because we woke up at 5am and drove six hours to get here. I need to find some coffee somewhere. Much love!

ps. we'll post a video later.

jake,
I don't know if you know this, but you are the same person as Robert Sledge (now) the bassist from Ben Folds Five.

Leeland kind of blends in with all those colorful happy characters in the background ;)

Glad to hear you guys are having fun! Funnel cakes are good, but I have yet to try and deep fried candy bars...not sure how that would go.

I pray God continues to bless you guys and give you some good rest tonight!

You guys should seriously consider coming to New Hampshire's Soulfest in August for insane food. They pretty much deep fry everything. It's so nasty, yet so awesome. Glad you guys are having fun, I actually just bought Sound of Melodies and it owns. Can't wait to see you in CT!

By the way, whoever mentioned Robert Sledge also owns. Ben Folds Five is awesome.

We went to the NC State Fair but we didn't eat anything "fried".

My wife and I watch The Office and Dwight is a great actor.

Hope you all told him about how Jesus died for his sins.

Sorry we missed you in concert at the NC State Fair.
